We facilitated a community town hall meeting on 8/18!
There we had 3 panelists come and answer many of the questions and concerns expressed by local community members! Elected officials and community organizations also presented possible solutions on how the new school can help and/or harm many POC communities. The town hall was truly needed for community members to directly voice their concerns and for the necessary conversations to be had. We hope that the final decision concerning the new school will best benefit POC communities in the area!
